Team Mustang is a MiTT (Military Transition Team) that reaches out and improves the local community, both directly and indirectly. We train and mentor our Iraqi Army counterparts by showing them the correct way to run and plan operations. We help them make their Army more effective, in turn allowing us to turn this region over to them in time.
The schools of Bi'aj project is a cooperative effort between Team Mustang and their stateside sponsors. We visit local schools and assess their current state. We then take this information back and use it for planning school renovations and what to supply them with. We are currently seeking donations of standard academic supplies; such as notebooks, writing utensils, binders, colored paper, etc. When we receive these items we will update the website and credit the individuals or organizations that sponsored these materials.
